ADR
Who are we?
The Central Government Audit Service (ADR) is the independent internal auditor of the central government and the
audit authority in the Netherlands for the European Commission. We work on behalf of all
ministries.
What do we do?
We conduct research in the field of financial, organizational and IT issues and management
of European money flows. We help clients with our research results. At the request of the minister, we also audit the annual accounts of agencies and other parts of a ministry. The Central Government Audit Service provides advice in areas such as:
- IT
- Governance
- Supervision
- Information security
- Privacy protection
- Organizational issues
We are closely involved in setting up improvement processes around (political) issues that
attention in the media, such as the corona crisis and the benefits affair. At the State Audit Service
we have an informal business working environment, no day is the same and the work is always of
social importance.
We are always looking for motivated students and graduated HBO and WO students for a
(graduation) internship or audit traineeship.
Internship
During your internship assignment you help to improve our research approach even further by:
to apply substantive IT knowledge in practice. Depending on your education, experience and
interests, we put together an interesting assignment together with you that suits you and
added value for us.
Traineeship
Have you (almost) graduated and are you looking for a place to develop further? In front of
starters we offer a two-year traineeship in which you get the opportunity to work
substantive training and a personal development program. As an audit trainee at the
Audit Service Rijk will take you everywhere. We work for the entire national government. We do this by
all over the country and sometimes beyond. In the office and sometimes in the field. For example
prisons, infrastructure projects or data centers.
