Company visit Launch Cafe
The Launch Cafe is a company at the Herestraat where people can hire a flex workplace or a fixed workplace to work in peace, quietness and in a productive atmosphere. Study Association KIC organised a visit to the Launch Cafe on the 11th of March to have a little look around this place.
Upon arrival, everyone was treated to a hot cup of coffee or tea after which the group assembled in one of the many conference rooms. An employee and an entrepreneur who hires a fixed workplace treated the group to a short presentation about the Launch Cafe.
The most interesting part about this presentation was when they explained how the Launch Cafe started out as a random collection of entrepreneurs and how it has grown into a solid community. All disciplines are represented within the premises of the Launch Cafe which means that nobody has to look very far when they need external services. For example, there is one financial business within the Launch Cafe, this business does the bookkeeping for nearly everyone in the Launch Cafe. This means that the Launch Cafe is much more than just a provider of basic workplaces.
After the presentation it was time for a short tour around the building. It was very interesting to see how one space would house multiple companies. If you ask me, the Launch Cafe is the ideal spot for ambitious starting entrepreneurs who want to surround themselves with like-minded people in order to work at their businesses as efficiently as possible.
