Gala 2019
The elegant climax of the year is without a doubt the gala. Together with six other study associations all strings were pulled to organize a chic happening for members and guests. A lot of people saw the gala as a perfect opportunity to bring their a-game and to flex mercilessly on the attendees that hadn't put as much thought into their outfit.
Huize Maas was completely rented out, people had to purchase a ticket up front for entry and free drinks. The free drinks made it necessary to open the photo booth early on the evening to be ahead of the hazy eyes. The music was taken care of by five guys wearing white shirts playing some covers for the first half of the evening. Next up was a DJ accompanied by some saxophone guy.
The atmosphere got better by the minute and everybody enjoyed this night without worries to its fullest. The night was legendary for its duration, the party was over at 3 AM and we were asked to get on our way home. The editorial committee was unanimously voted the best dressed committee. A big thanks to the organization!
